Mohbad’s widow Wunmi finally served DNA Application request by Court

Omowunmi, the widow of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, has finally been served with a court order for a DNA test following long months of being unable to reach her.

The Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu granted the order, necessitating the notice of the pending DNA test application to be served to Omowunmi.

According to the legal team, attempts by the court’s sheriff to serve Omowunmi the court process were unsuccessful twice. Consequently, the Chief Magistrate ordered that Omowunmi should be served by posting the court process at her last known address.

An update confirms that the court order has now been successfully delivered to Omowunmi, as the court order letter was affixed to her house gate.

Following Mohbad’s demise, there has been a call from various quarters, including Mohbad’s father, for a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of Liam, his son.

Omawunmi had previously stated her refusal to conduct a DNA test for her son, citing her own reasons and asserting her rights.

This stance has drawn criticism from some, including actress Sarah Martins, who referred to Omowunmi as a senseless widow, questioning her reluctance to undergo the DNA test.
