Iyabo Ojo Begins Plans To Give Mohbad Befitting Burial

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has begun plans to give the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, a befitting burial.

Favouritegist reports that the movie star made this known in a chat with an Instagram blogger while giving an update on the investigation of Mohbad’s death.

Recall that the corpse of the late ‘KPK’ crooner was exhumed last week for autopsy by the Lagos State Police, following the controversy surrounding the death.

Many fans of the singer also faulted Mohbad’s father for the hasty burial and the nature of the casket used in burying the singer.

According to Iyabo Ojo, the Mohbad’s corpse will be returned to the family immediately after the result of the autopsy is out.

She also said that the singer’s father had approved the request to give his son a befitting burial.

I Have No Head In Mohbad’s Death

Meanwhile, controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, denied involvement in the death of his former signee, Mohbad.

In a statement shared via his Instagram page on Tuesday evening, September 26, Naira Marley said he has no hand, directly or indirectly, in the death of Mohbad.

The singer said he has not only been shocked by the passing of Mohbad but also by the lies and threats peddled against him.

He stated that he and Mohbad had disagreements while working together, but it never degenerated into wishing each other death.

Naira Marley said he has been out of the country since August 31 but plans to return following an invitation by the police, who are currently investigating Mohbad’s death and will fully cooperate with the police team.

He further stated that he had no reason to be a fugitive since he had no hand in the death, noting that the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death would be unveiled in due time, and the world would know the truth.
